On July 22, William Alexander Portee pleaded guilty to one count of assault and battery, first degree, and one count of felon in possession of a firearm.

The court heard evidence that on June 27, 2025, Portee and two others argued with Travon Allen before approaching him armed at his residence, leading to a brief gunfire exchange.
Allen was not injured during the altercation.
